As a long-time apartment dweller, I haven't owned a rake, ever. This one was mine for mere minutes. As the picture shows, Liora takes great pleasure at raking leaves. This is in addition to playing in leaves, throwing leaves in the air and eating leaves, especially ones that are decomposing. She also can't seem to get enough sweeping with a broom. For now, her contribution to these chores is negligible, if not counter-productive. However, we hope that she maintains a fondness for them for many years to come.
As you can see, our new home in Seattle is lovely. We are enjoying quite a bit of autumn loveliness this October. We've had many days of rain and clouds, but enough sun and bright, crisp mornings to keep our spirits up.
