Luckily, my Mom is the world’s foremost expert on patty cake. She and Liora became fast friends over marking the dough with “b.” In fact, we all learned from the master and have been entertaining Liora with patty cake since our visit. Truth be told, however, it’s just not the same as when Grandma Penny does it. Watching my Mom and Liora play together this holiday was a blessing that will remain with me till the end of my days.
