How fortunate are we to be down the street from a public garden such as this? Liora and I have taken many, many walks here over the last month. It's generally sparse in visitors, and even when populated, big enough for all to have their own space. I benefit from the beauty of this hidden valley of tall redwoods, sheltering coastal pines, abundant roses and gentle water - Liora benefits from my unabashed singing of lullabies and whatever nonsense I can think of to soothe her. I used to run here, but those memories are of muscle fatigue and techno music. I will treasure by far the more recent memories of baby Liora, Tama and the friends who join us for evening walks.
